On the 21st and 22nd of September the Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS) promoted meetings to present its services Center Specialized in Rehabilitation (CER III) for professionals from the Macaíba health department, doctors, nurses and other people linked to the city's family health strategy.
The activity was led by the CEPS Anita Garibaldi CER III coordination team: Hougelle Simplício and Francisco Cabral Júnior, CEPS medical preceptors; It is Samantha Maranhão It is Camila Simão, multi-professional preceptors at CEPS. The activities on both days were attended by around 80 health professionals, who were able to understand how CER III works, from entry procedures, service flows within each line of activity, through explanations about the clinics offered to the inclusion criteria.
CER III of CEPS Anita Garibaldi
CEPS Anita Garibaldi was authorized by the Ministry of Health as CER III in October 2016 and caters for three types of disabilities: physical, intellectual and hearing. CER III receives patients from Natal, Macaíba, São Gonçalo do Amarante, Extremoz and Parnamirim and its actions are organized in the following clinics: Epilepsy (child and adult); Parkinson's; Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); Spinal cord injury (child and adult); Microcephaly; Hearing Impairment (child and adult); Extreme prematurity.
