A National Science and Technology Week (SNCT) It's a time of year when the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) promotes various activities for the dissemination and popularization of science with the main objective of showing society the actions that are developed in its lines of action: research in neurosciences and neuroengineering and health education.
Look HERE the article about ISD's actions at SNCT 2017 and check out the making-of video below:
This year, with the theme “Science to reduce inequalities“, ISD sees a great opportunity to highlight the various projects that are developed seeking social transformation, especially in the region where it operates. Moments of interaction such as those at SNCT serve to bring scientific work closer to people and lead them to know and get involved with the work carried out in Macaíba (RN) by the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS) and by Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS), which in 2018 completes 10 years of existence.
For the third consecutive year, the ISD carries out its actions during the SNCT through the public notice to support actions for the dissemination and popularization of science of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).
Below is the schedule of activities to be carried out by ISD between October 15th and 19th, in Rio Grande do Norte, in the cities of Macaíba, Natal, Ceará-Mirim and Macau. All interested people are invited to participate in the actions, which are free. Follow via social networks:
