Committee of the Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa Alberto Santos Dumont (CEP\/ISD) was created on February 3, 2020 and registered by the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National Research Ethics Committee \u2013 CONEP on September 28, 2020, under number 10147.<\/span><\/h6><h6>The CEP is a deliberative, consultative and educational body, formed by an interdisciplinary and independent group, with the objective of ethically evaluating research with human beings at ISD and related institutions, especially in the Institute&#039;s units.<\/h6><h6>The Committee works to protect the integrity and dignity of research participants, seeking to establish ethical guidelines for research in the health area.<\/h6><h6>CEP\/ISD members act voluntarily and independently, always in defense of participants and in favor of the ethical development of research in associated institutions.<\/h6><h6><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The mandate of <a href=\"https:\/\/institutosantosdumont.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/MEMBROS.docx\">committee members<\/a> is three years, with renewal permitted.\u00a0<\/span><\/h6><h3><strong>Submitting projects for review<\/strong><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research projects involving human beings, directly or indirectly, must be submitted to this Committee via <a href=\"https:\/\/plataformabrasil.saude.gov.br\/login.jsf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Brazil Platform<\/a>, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">according to Resolution of the National Health Council (CNS) No. 466, of December 12, 2012, and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Resolution No. 510,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of evaluated by the Committee are: public opinion surveys with unidentified participants, census surveys and surveys that use public domain data (according to article 1 of Res 510\/16
