The 2025 edition of the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) Science Fair and Scientific Exhibitions will take place on October 22, 23 and 24, at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS), in Maca\u00edba\/RN. This edition is supported by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq); the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FNDCT); the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), as part of the Pop Science Program; the Ministry of Education (MEC), as part of the Full-Time School Program; and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel \u2013 CAPES.<\/span><\/p>

The event is part of the 22nd National Science and Technology Week (SNCT), which this year has the theme: \u201cPlanet Water: ocean culture to face climate change in my territory\u201d.<\/p>

Students from public and private schools throughout Rio Grande do Norte are eligible to participate. Schools must register by October 13th using the electronic form available in the announcement.<\/p>

The Science Fair is open to elementary, high school, and vocational school students, who can present their work in booths or posters. Topics include science and social technologies, water, food, climate, digital economy and society, and health, among others. Entries can be submitted individually or in groups, according to the guidelines in the announcement.<\/p>

Presentations will be evaluated by a scientific committee. At the end of each day, the best papers will receive trophies and medals in a special ceremony. Students and teachers who present their work at the Science Fair will receive a certificate of participation.<\/p>

In addition to project presentations, the program includes science workshops for students in preschool, elementary, and high school. Activities include experiments, games, and playful practices on neuroscience, neuroengineering, ocean culture, and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (SDGs).<\/p>

To participate in any modality, the school must select interested students and complete the registration form available in the announcement. Registration must be completed by the administration, pedagogical coordinator, or teachers, with the consent of guardians in the case of students under 18.<\/p>

The objective of National Science and Technology Week is to popularize science in the country, especially among public school students, promoting a space for reflection and dialogue that brings together the scientific community, teachers, researchers, students, and the general public.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
