Between the 24th and 27th of July, the students of the Science and History of the\u00a0Science Education Center (CEC)<\/strong>\u00a0from Maca\u00edba (RN) had a week of interaction with artists from different areas. The meetings are part of a work that has been developed by this workshop to value Northeastern identity, especially addressing oral expressions and knowledge transmitted from generation to generation through speech and \u201cstories\u201d, so common in this region of Brazil.<\/p>

One of them already knew the place very well and made a point of saying that he had already been there: Rafael Gomes, a Macaib poet, was a student at CEC Maca\u00edba and proudly recounted his trajectory from a boy inspired by the poet Auta de Souza to the publication of books with poems of his authorship. The students listened attentively to all the other artists' reports throughout the week and made photographic and written records of the meetings. through the work of guest artists.<\/p>

Previously, they had read the biographies of Rafael Gomes, poet; Breno da Silva, cordelist; Ant\u00f4nio Hare, visual artist; M\u00e1rcio Benjamim, writer and Leander Moura, comic artist. Armed with basic information about the guests, the students listened to the speeches and asked questions about the artists' choices and how they disseminate their works, in addition to talking about the use of media, artistic taste and Northeastern culture.<\/p>

After these meetings, students will prepare an exhibition uniting the different records about the studied artists. This work will be in the form of panels, which should be composed with examples of the artists' works, photos of the meetings, a questioning of each topic discussed and their responses, in addition to the biographies and images of each guest.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
