This course is linked to the area of <strong>Biomedical engineering<\/strong> and is aimed at graduates in the areas of Health, Biology (Biology, Medicine, Psychology, etc.) and Engineering (bachelor&#039;s or bachelor&#039;s degree). Those interested in deepening their knowledge in the area of Neuroengineering will attend classes at IIN-ELS, a unit of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/institutosantosdumont.org.br\/en\/sobre-isd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Santos Dumont Institute (ISD)<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0located in Maca\u00edba (RN), a city about 14 kilometers from Natal.<\/p><p>The IIN-ELS Postgraduate Program (PPG) offers the first master&#039;s degree in Neuroengineering in Brazil, authorized by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.capes.gov.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Higher Education Personnel Improvement Coordination (CAPES)<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p><p>Neuroengineering is an interdisciplinary research area that brings together methods of <strong>neuroscience and engineering to study the functioning of the nervous system<\/strong> and develop solutions to the limitations and dysfunctions associated with it. The PPG in Neuroengineering at IIN-ELS has two lines of research:<strong>\u00a0Brain-Machine Interface (BMI) and Neuromodulation<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Information about the master&#039;s degree and
