O Santos Dumont Institute (ISD)<\/strong>, Social Organization (OS) that maintains a Management Contract (CG) with the Ministry of Education (MEC) to develop teaching, research and extension actions, informs that on November 28, 2017, the Multiannual Cycle Assessment Report 2014 to 2017<\/strong>, prepared by the Management Contract Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (CAACG), recommended the renewal of the Management Contract for the period from 2018 to 2022, maintaining the activities of the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS)<\/strong> It's from Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS)<\/strong>, units managed by ISD.<\/p>

On the other hand, in view of the Federal Government's budget adjustment planned for the next years, the activities of Science Education Centers (CECs)<\/strong> will be suspended, for an indefinite period, from January 2018. This decision applies to CECs units located in Natal (RN), Maca\u00edba (RN) \u2013 Alfredo J. Monteverde Schools<\/strong> \u2013 and in Serrinha (BA).<\/p>

The ISD seeks alternative sources of resources, which, combined with the infrastructure financed by the Public Power, will allow the scientific education project for public school students to continue in the future.<\/p>

The Santos Dumont Institute recognizes the support of the MEC, through the contribution of public resources that financed the activities of the CECs during the first cycle of the Management Contract (2014-2017). Furthermore, ISD thanks, on behalf of its three Scientific Education Centers (CECs), all those who contributed to the construction of this 10-year history of commitment to education, especially the teachers and managers of partner schools in all benefited municipalities; to municipal and state education departments; to educators and other CEC professionals; and, most especially, to the students, greater joy and meaning in our educational practice.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
