The public-private partnership model employed by Santos Dumont Institute (ISD)<\/strong><\/a> was the theme of a presentation in Goi\u00e2nia-GO, on December 7th. This occurred during the 1st <\/strong>National Symposium on Public and Private Management<\/strong><\/a>, held at the Pontifical Catholic University of Goi\u00e1s (PUC-GO). The Director of Teaching and Research at ISD, Reginaldo Freitas Junior<\/strong>, gave the lecture \u201cCase Competence in Public Education in partnership with a Social Organization<\/strong>\u201d, during the round table \u201cPublic Management Today\u201d.<\/p>

The event promoted by the School of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences of PUC Goi\u00e1s and the State Department of Health, had as its theme \u201cthe public\/private relationship<\/strong> in the contemporary world: social organizations, advances and challenges for high-performance management of health and education\u201d. The target audience included students, managers of hospitals, clinics, clinical laboratories, health professionals and public and private education, businesspeople, administrators, among others.<\/p>

In his lecture, Freitas J\u00fanior showed the actions and differences of the units that make up the Santos Dumont Institute, a Social Organization (OS) that maintains a Management Contract (CG) with the Ministry of Education (MEC)<\/strong><\/a> to develop activities in the areas of scientific education, maternal and child health, neuroscience and neuroengineering<\/strong>. Its mission is to \u201cpromote education for life, forming citizens through integrated teaching, research and extension actions and contributing to a more just and humane transformation of Brazilian social reality\u201d.<\/p>

The round table in which Freitas J\u00fanior participated also included the following presentations:<\/p>

\u2013 Health in Goi\u00e1s: a retrospective of the last 5 years with the partnership of Social Organizations. Speaker: Leonardo Vilella<\/strong> \u2013 Secretary of State for Health (GO);<\/p>

\u2013 Partnerships in the health sector to survive the crisis: possibilities with the Santas Casas de Miseric\u00f3rdia. Speaker: Irani Ribeiro<\/strong> \u2013 General Superintendent of the Santa Casa de Miseric\u00f3rdia of Goi\u00e2nia;<\/p>

\u2013 The partnership model with the third sector: myths and reality. Speaker: Renilson Rehem de Souza<\/strong> \u2013 President IBROSS.<\/p>

The state of Goi\u00e1s employs a model of public hospital network management, in partnership with social organizations, which is a reference in the country. The 1st National Symposium on Public and Private Management served as an opportunity for professionals to exchange experiences of this nature.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
