The award ceremony took place during the Conference <a href=\"https:\/\/thenetworktufh.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>The Network: Towards Unity For Health (TUFH)<\/strong><\/a>. This year&#039;s other award winners are: <strong>Shantharam Baliga<\/strong> (India), <strong>Maryellen Brisbois<\/strong> (USA) and <strong>Mary of Peace Grebe<\/strong> (Argentina).<\/p><p>In addition, Barriguda&#039;s work presented at the event \u2013 Promoting Maternal Health in a Quilombola Community \u2013 received a diploma as the best poster at TUFH 2018.\u00a0<\/p><p>The multidisciplinary team that developed the poster is composed of: <strong>Alexsandra Cassiano<\/strong> (ISD), <strong>Ana Karla Freitas<\/strong> (UFRN), <strong>Carolina Barreto<\/strong> (ISD), <strong>Carolina Damasio<\/strong> (ISD), <strong>George Azevedo<\/strong> (UFRN), <strong>lilian lisbon<\/strong> (ISD\/UFRN), <strong>Reginaldo Freitas Junior<\/strong> (ISD\/UFRN) and <strong>Samara Maia<\/strong> (ISD).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8kxc9hp elementor-widget elementor-widget-html\" data-id=\"8kxc9hp\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"html.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FISDnarede%2Fvideos%2F2148038461976585%2F&show_text=0&width=560\" width=\"560\" height=\"317\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-l2hd8fw elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"l2hd8fw\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ky4hybq elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ky4hybq\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><strong>About Barriguda<\/strong><\/h3><p>In 2015, ISD started the project, through the <strong>Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS)<\/strong>, in the Quilombola Community of Capoeiras, in Maca\u00edba (RN). Since 2016, it has had a direct interface with the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), through the undergraduate discipline \u201c<strong>Cultural Competence in Quilombola Women&#039;s Health Care<\/strong>\u201d.
