Resident pharmacists Brunno Martins<\/strong> It is John Beserra da Silva<\/strong> arrived at the internship in Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS)<\/strong> willing to experience all the care offered by the multidisciplinary team in Maca\u00edba (RN). Throughout the experience, they saw in the pediatric service of the Anita Garibaldi Center an opportunity to act to guide patients on the correct use of medications. After the proposal was made, they received support and guidance from the team, especially from the multidisciplinary preceptor and biochemical pharmacist at CEPS, Danielle Rosemary<\/strong>, for the preparation and development of the project.<\/p>

In May, the Pharmacotherapeutic Monitoring Service was implemented for pediatric patients at the Anita Garibaldi Center. After medical consultations, residents conducted Pharmaceutical Care services, advising patients on medications and appropriate dosages for each case, among other information.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Experience at CEPS was recognized at a Symposium in Sergipe<\/strong><\/h3>

Bruno and Jo\u00e3o are students of the Maternal and Child Health Residency Program at Multicampi School of Medical Sciences<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(EMCM\/UFRN), a partner of CEPS in health education activities. During the IV Symposium on Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Prescription, held between August 20 and 22, in Aracaju (SE), the residents received an honorable mention as the 4th best project presented at the event, based on the report of their experience at the Anita Garibaldi Center.<\/p>

Danielle said she was \u201cextremely happy to see them reap the rewards of serious work, applied with great enthusiasm and, above all, providing a valuable service to the population.\u201d In the context of Pharmaceutical Care, the professional seeks to ensure the efficacy and safety of drug treatment, always considering the patient and the various aspects of their life. \u201cThis work gave us more experience in contacting users and in detecting and correcting problems related to medications,\u201d commented Brunno. He concluded by saying: \u201cI would like to thank the entire team at CEPS Anita Garibaldi, who proved to be fertile ground for planting new seeds of ideas, contributing, encouraging and improving our proposal as residents.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
