Program <a href=\"http:\/\/gshow.globo.com\/Inter-TV-RN\/Rota-Inter-TV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><strong>Intertv Route<\/strong><\/a>, shown on December 15, 2018 on the Rede Globo affiliate in Rio Grande do Norte, showed some of the work carried out at the Institute <a href=\"https:\/\/institutosantosdumont.org.br\/en\/instituto-neurociencias\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Edmond and Lily Safra Neuroscience International (IIN-ELS)<\/strong><\/a>, in Maca\u00edba (RN).<\/p><p>Reporter L\u00e9o Souza interviewed researchers, students of the master&#039;s degree in neuroengineering and employees of the Institute, especially addressing the story of the master&#039;s student <strong>Jose Firmino<\/strong>, which is in formation at <strong>Santos Dumont Institute (ISD)<\/strong> approximately 11 years ago.<\/p><p>The student from Maca\u00edba was part of the first class of <strong>Science Education Centers (CECs)<\/strong> from ISD, which were active between 2007 and 2017, in the cities of Natal, Maca\u00edba and Serrinha (BA), promoting scientific education workshops for elementary school II students from public schools.<\/p><p>Firmino then went to IIN-ELS, beginning his research career as a Scientific Initiation student until he entered the Master&#039;s in Neuroengineering, the focus of his current
