The Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) carries out ongoing work related to preventable maternal mortality, promoting training and awareness-raising activities on the subject for health professionals and society in general since 2016. In 2018, the Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS) became part of the\u00a0<strong>Municipal Committee for the Prevention of Maternal, Infant and Fetal Mortality of Maca\u00edba (RN)<\/strong>\u00a0to expand and strengthen the work already developed in the \u201cAvoidable Maternal Mortality\u201d project, carried out by the Institute.\u00a0<\/p><p>The ISD General Director, Reginaldo Freitas J\u00fanior, was interviewed on Jornal da Assembleia, on TV Assembleia (RN) and spoke about the topic.
