On 09\/30\/2019, the\u00a0Institute<\/strong>\u00a0Edmond and Lily Safra Neuroscience International (IIN-ELS)\u00a0<\/strong>published a scientific article published in the journal Jove, a pioneer in the world in publishing videos of scientific experiments, presenting images and protocols in text that facilitate scientific reproducibility and productivity.<\/p>

The work was carried out and submitted by researchers and students of the Master in Neuroengineering at IIN-ELS. The video presents a stereotaxic surgery protocol for neurosurgical implantation of microelectrode arrays in order to obtain electrophysiological recordings. This method offers the opportunity to study brain functions.<\/p>
