href=\"https:\/\/coronavirus.saude.gov.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">coronavirus<\/a> that Brazil and the world face, the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD), a Social Organization financed by the Ministry of Education (MEC), publishes a series of publications for guidance in cases of suspected and confirmed disease in <a href=\"https:\/\/institutosantosdumont.org.br\/en\/unidades\/saude-anita-garibaldi\/\">one of your priority audiences<\/a>: Pregnant women.<\/p><p>The content was <span class=\"text_exposed_show\">divided into 3 illustrations and presents answers to the 10 questions identified as the most common about pregnancy and breastfeeding in the context of Covid-19, a proposed flowchart for outpatient care of cases and a checklist for health professionals in the hospitalization area.<\/span><\/p><p>The texts are based on patient reports and a series of studies carried out in a collaborative effort by infectious disease specialists, obstetricians and professionals in the areas of nursing and physiotherapy working at the ISD, the State Secretariat for Public Health (Sesap-RN) and the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN).<\/p><p><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">The management proposal considers experiences with other respiratory viruses, since Covid-19 is a recently emerged disease and the scientific community does not yet have robust data to make definitive statements or adopt specific protocols based on scientific evidence.<\/span><\/p><p>The content publishing strategy is part of ISD&#039;s concentrated efforts to meet the demands of maternal and child health care services in Rio Grande do Norte, including
