O Center for Health Education and Research Anita Garibaldi<\/a>, from the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD), has, as of this Monday (18), the reinforcement of three new multidisciplinary preceptors and another nursing technician \u2013 but they should not be, however, the only hires registered at the beginning of this year.\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cA new selection will be made for the unfilled position of multidisciplinary clinical psychologist preceptor for rehabilitation and, in addition, we will open a selection process to hire an obstetrician-gynecologist,\u201d said the manager of Anita, the ISD school unit for training health professionals, Lilian Lira Lisboa.<\/p>

The professionals who are now entering the field are clinical psychologist Cec\u00edlia Galv\u00e3o de Brito, physiotherapist Larissa Varela and occupational therapist Maria Izabel da Silva, who take on the role of multidisciplinary preceptors and begin their activities alongside nursing technician Maria das Dores Jacinto, from the same selection process.<\/p>

For the social service team, reinforcement arrives as of this Tuesday with social worker Renata Rocha. Pediatric orthopedic doctor Kalyana Eduardo Fernandes, who is on maternity leave, was also selected and will soon be incorporated into Anita.<\/p>

Competition<\/strong><\/p>

The selection process that resulted in the hiring was opened in November last year and received around 300 resumes, with an average competition of 80 professionals per vacancy in the most sought-after areas: psychology and occupational therapy.\u00a0<\/p>

The post published on the Institute's Instagram to announce the vacancies was viewed by 5,539 people and became the one with the greatest reach and also the most liked, shared, and saved by internet users \u2013 in addition to adding the most new followers to the @isdnarede profile in 2020.<\/p>

\u201cDespite the adverse macroeconomic scenario, with a low level of economic activity and a reduction in jobs due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the selection process opened by ISD registered one of the highest competitions in recent years and this demonstrates that the Institute remains attractive from the point of view of professionals due to the work it carries out, in a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary manner and with comprehensive and humanized care dedicated to the people it assists\u201d, says the administrative director, Jovan Gadioli dos Santos.\u00a0<\/p>

Integration<\/strong><\/p>

The statement was made this Monday during the board's presentation for the integration of new professionals into the team, when the ISD's mission was one of the main points highlighted by the Institute's general director, Reginaldo Freitas J\u00fanior.<\/p>

\u201cThe mission that is written here on the wall, education for life, forming citizens, means that we are here to form citizens. The idea is that we can truly integrate this by combining teaching, research and outreach. And you will see that there will always be someone learning from you in the care of each patient, and that we are delivering social value, giving back to the society that funds us with outreach actions. This is how we believe we can positively transform realities, making our society more just and more humane. And it is great to welcome you knowing that you also believe in this,\u201d he said.<\/p>

Working on education helps to transform social indicators, boost the human development index, generate economic development and also promote greater social inclusion of people with disabilities and those who receive maternal and child health care, reducing social vulnerabilities in the region, added Freitas J\u00fanior.<\/p>

Education objectives<\/strong><\/p>

\u201cWe chose to educate through this model. Our health care actions for the population are our tool, they are our means to achieve educational goals, because the idea we believe in is that education can truly transform the social reality of the city where we are located, the region where we have influence, the state, the country. And I think it is very important to say that hiring you is based on our desire to have professional teachers and that we hope that your professional practice inspires the people who will be under your supervision and mentorship, learning from the daily exercise of our mission to transform realities.\u201d<\/p>

ISD is a non-profit social organization linked to the Ministry of Education. The projects and activities of teaching, research and extension that it develops encompass the areas of neuroscience, neuroengineering, maternal and child health and health of people with disabilities. Two of its own postgraduate programs, pioneering in Brazil \u2013 Multiprofessional Residency in Health Care for Persons with Disabilities<\/a> and the Master's in Neuroengineering<\/a> \u2013 are directly involved in this context, in addition to internship students and students from medical and multidisciplinary residency programs who \u2013 through the Institute's partnership with other institutions, such as UFRN \u2013 also have Anita as a practice setting.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
