O Postgraduate Program in Neuroengineering<\/a> of\u00a0Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience<\/a>, from the Santos Dumont Institute ((IIN-ELS\/ISD), released this Friday (24) the list of those approved in the first phase of the 2021.1 selection process for the master's degree in Neuroengineering \u2013 the only one in Brazil in this area of knowledge.\u00a0<\/p>

Of the 37 registered candidates, 21 were approved and will proceed to the interview phase, scheduled for January 27th and 28th. Ten places are offered in the selection process. Of this total, one is reserved for professors and employees at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and two are intended for graduates of the\u00a0Multiprofessional Residency in Health Care for Persons with Disabilities<\/a>, from ISD.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

The first phase of the selection process involved the analysis of documents such as letters of intent, letters of recommendation, CV lattes and academic history.\u00a0<\/p>

The final result is scheduled for February 4th and the start of activities for March 1st.<\/p><\/div>

THE MASTERS<\/strong><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>

The Master's in Neuroengineering is offered free of charge, lasts up to two years and is the first in Brazil recommended by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) in this area. This will be the 15th class.<\/p>

The program began in August 2013 and since then, until October 2020, 114 students have entered and 65 have defended their dissertations.\u00a0<\/p>

Students who take the course come from different states, from North to South of Brazil, and come from areas such as biomedical engineering, computer engineering, medicine, biological sciences, electrical engineering, computer science, nursing, biotechnology, civil engineering , control and automation engineering, chemical engineering, physiotherapy, psychology, biomedicine and speech therapy.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>
