The gateway to most health care in urban and rural communities, Basic Health Units need to be well structured to provide the best service to patients. Based on this concern, the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD), through the Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (Anita), signed an agreement with the Municipality of Maca\u00edba for training in permanent education for workers in the Unified Health System (SUS) in the municipality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/span>\n

This Friday (30\/07), students from the Multiprofessional Residency in Health Care for People with Disabilities received 24 nurses who are part of the Family Health Strategy (ESF) teams in Macau. Over the course of four hours, they developed actions covering the topic related to the health of people with disabilities. In addition to this, there are two other central axes that will be studied over the next 12 meetings planned until the end of this year: women's health and children's health.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/span>\n

These themes were agreed with the Ministry of Education (MEC). In total, health workers in Maca\u00edba will receive 40 hours\/class of training in Permanent Education, a differential for the development of more humanized work and with positive results in the basic network.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/span>\n

\u201cThis training aims to strengthen ties with the Maca\u00edba health network via the Family Health Strategy and provide updates on the topics that concern us: maternal and child health and rehabilitation\u201d, highlights Samantha Maranh\u00e3o, preceptor psychologist and coordinator of Activities of Health Education at the Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center. In this Friday's training, six second-year multidisciplinary residents (psychologists, physiotherapists, social workers and speech therapists) taught the content.<\/span><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/span>\n

According to Samantha Maranh\u00e3o, the development of practices by residents is extremely important for the training of each of them. \u201cThis has a formative role in the teaching and professional area. This experience is very interesting\u201d, highlights the Psychology preceptor.<\/span><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/span>\n

The meeting ended late in the morning with the construction of a symbolic network among the participants, demonstrating the need for common ideas and joint support in actions so that the work obtains positive results.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
