Residents completing the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Health Care for Persons with Disabilities at the Santos Dumont Institute (RESPCD\/ISD) began, this week, the presentations of their final works, which symbolize the end of the two-year cycle of theoretical and practical learning at the training of these specialist professionals. By next month, it is estimated that eight Residency Completion Projects (TCR) will be published based on the learning obtained in activities carried out in rehabilitation clinics for people with disabilities in the ISD units in Maca\u00edba, which are the Education and Anita Garibaldi Health Research (Anita) and the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute for Neuroscience (IIN-ELS).<\/p>

This Tuesday, March 8, two Residency Completion Projects were presented. The first of them, in the morning, was defended by social worker Juciara Gomes de Matos Souza. The TCR of the new specialist in Health Care for People with Disabilities sought to understand the vision of professional social workers and psychologists who work at the Specialized Center for Rehabilitation IV, at ISD, in relation to psychosocial care.\u00a0<\/p>

The research included conducting focus groups with professionals from the areas of Social Service and Psychology to understand their perceptions of this practice as an intervention strategy at CER IV, through a health intervention designed and conducted by social service and psychology workers, the which was incorporated into the care flow of the aforementioned rehabilitation service for people with disabilities. It results from professional insertion in the outpatient service, through the Multidisciplinary Residency program in Health Care for People with Disabilities, and corresponds to approaches around interdisciplinary work.\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cFrom a theoretical and methodological point of view, the study is qualitative in nature, along the lines of action research, and combined a survey of literature relevant to the study topic and field research, using the focus group technique, covering professionals from the aforementioned areas. who are part of the so-called psychosocial team\u201d, wrote Juciara Gomes in TCR.<\/p>

Throughout the afternoon, psychologist Giovanni Sampaio Queiroz spoke about the role of psychology professionals in rehabilitation. The research setting was also the CER IV ISD and brings a \u201creport on the experience of producing care for people with tinnitus\u201d, based on the experience at the Hearing Rehabilitation Clinic.<\/p>

The article reports, in general terms, the experience of psychology professionals working in health rehabilitation within the scope of the SUS, based on a group intervention aimed at producing care for people with tinnitus, which consisted of six meetings during the period from May to November 2021.\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cFor the purposes of this report, three workshops were selected to discuss the role of psychology professionals in rehabilitation. This experience demonstrated that the dialogue of Community Psychology in the health field and its link with studies on disability can contribute to the development of this area of knowledge, contributing to bold action, without losing the critical and reflective focus, so that to open paths and discover new horizons for the professional practice of Psychology in the field of rehabilitation\u201d, declares the newest specialist in Health Care for People with Disabilities at ISD, Giovanni Queiroz Sampaio.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
