In another cycle of the Preceptorship Workshop promoted monthly by the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD), around 30 preceptors divided between physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, neurologists, nutritionists and speech therapists who work at the Specialized Rehabilitation Center (CER IV ISD ), in Maca\u00edba (RN), presented work and discussed issues relating to professional skills in Health Care for People with Disabilities on the morning of this Monday, 25th.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

According to the neuropsychologist and coordinator of ISD's Health Education Activities, Samantha Maranh\u00e3o, the Workshop's goal is to \u201cimprove the work process in preceptorship with scenarios permeated by defined and clear learning objectives\u201d with the Program's residents. of Multidisciplinary Residency in Health Care for People with Disabilities (RESPCD\/ISD), master's students from the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neurosciences (IIN-ELS) and undergraduates who carry out internships at the institution. The Preceptorship Workshop is an internal permanent education strategy developed by the Santos Dumont Institute to improve and update work processes. Divided into groups, the preceptors were based on reading the article Core Competencies on Disability of Health Care Education. health of people with disabilities, in free translation) and carried out group dynamics to anchor discussions on the proposed themes. In 2021, there was a modification to the Academic Calendar of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) that shortened the academic periods, putting 2.5 in one year, due to the pandemic. During the period, the Santos Dumont Institute received 624 graduates. These students came from the Physiotherapy, Medicine, Psychology and Social Service courses at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) \u2013 Central Campus, in Natal; the Multicampi School of Medical Sciences, in Caic\u00f3; from the Faculty of Health Sciences of Trairi (Facisa) \u2013 in addition to students from the Cultural and Educational Association of Par\u00e1 (ACEPA).
