On the morning of Tuesday, November 28, the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) will welcome Antonio Adilton Oliveira Carneiro, professor and researcher at the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (USP) and president of the Brazilian Society of Biomedical Engineering (SBEB), for the lecture <\/span>\u201cThe future of engineering for healthcare innovation\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The event will take place in person in the auditorium of <\/span>Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS)<\/span>, at 10 am, with participation open to the external public. Registration can be done via an online form (<\/span>https:\/\/bit.ly\/49O7hv2<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

The lecture represents an important moment of sharing knowledge with a reference professional in the scientific field, in addition to being an opportunity for engineering students, health professionals and entrepreneurs to resolve their doubts about the development of new health technologies in Brazil.<\/span><\/p>\n

The speaker\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Antonio Adilton Oliveira Carneiro holds a master's and doctorate in Physics Applied to Medicine and Biology from USP and conducted post-doctoral research at the Faculty of Medicine of the same institution. In addition, he is a visiting researcher at the University of Wisconsin and the Mayo Clinic Foundation, in the United States. He is currently a Full Professor at USP and <\/span>president of <\/span>Brazilian Society of Biomedical Engineering<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
