The international event took place last Friday (1st), at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Universidad del Rosario, located in Bogot\u00e1, Colombia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the lecture, Delisle gave details about the functioning and results achieved by the ISD postgraduate program in neuroengineering and presented the lines of care and health education developed at Anita. The researcher&#039;s participation took place remotely, via video call conference.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt was an opportunity to present applied and developing innovations based on human-machine, brain-computer and brain-brain interfaces for motor, cognitive and communication assistance, in addition to sharing actions to improve health services,\u201d explained the professor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event was organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), an organization that seeks to apply science and technological development for the benefit of humanity. The entity celebrates this Tuesday (5) the world day of the Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS), which brings together professionals in biomedical engineering, doctors, biologists, chemists, among other professions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>About ISD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Santos Dumont Institute is a Social Organization linked to the MEC and includes the Edmond and Lily Safra International Neuroscience Institute and the Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center, both in Maca\u00edba.
