The Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) released this Monday (19) the notice regarding the selection process for the Multiprofessional Residency in Health Care for People with Disabilities (RESPCD). Professionals from Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, Social Work and Occupational Therapy can participate in the selection. Registration is open until 4 pm on October 11, on the ISD website (www.isd.org.br), under the tab \u201cTeaching\u201d > \u201cMultiprofessional Residency in Health Care for People with Disabilities\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

RESPCD is a lato sensu postgraduate course, guided by the principles and guidelines of the Unified Health System (SUS) based on the needs identified in the local and regional reality. The program lasts 2 years, to be completed exclusively, with a workload of 60 hours per week. Currently, the work grant granted to approved individuals has a gross value of R$4,106.09.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be 10 vacancies offered in the selection process, two for each area of training covered by RESPCD. The selection will take place in three phases, the first consisting of an objective theoretical test; the second of a practical test and the third of a curriculum analysis. RESPCD<\/b><\/p>\n

RESPCD activities are developed in two ISD units, in Maca\u00edba (RN): the Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (Anita) and the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS), from the Specialized Center for ISD Rehabilitation (CER ISD). Daily, the ISD offers chartered transport, which runs between the municipalities of Natal and Maca\u00edba.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ministry of Health recognizes the ISD as a Specialized Rehabilitation Center IV, which encompasses rehabilitation in the auditory, physical, intellectual and visual areas. From the ISD CER, several lines of care operate, with which residents will have direct contact, such as: Parkinson's Disease; Spinal Cord Injury (Adult and Child-Adolescent); Microcephaly; Prematurity; Neurodevelopment; Neurogenic Bladder; Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); Drug-Resistant Epilepsy; Hearing Health; Visual Health and Parasports.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The ISD Residency Program combines the areas of teaching, research and extension, with a focus on strengthening the Care Network for People with Disabilities in the context of the Unified Health System (SUS). In addition to access to the work environment of the ISD lines of care, the resident will have the opportunity to get in touch with the activities and research projects developed in the Postgraduate Program in Neuroengineering at IIN-ELS.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
