The deadline for submitting scientific papers to the 2nd Conference of the Care Network for People with Disabilities in Rio Grande do Norte has been extended. Interested parties now have until 5 pm on April 18 to submit their abstracts via <\/span>official event portal<\/span><\/a>, in the \u201cPaper Submissions\u201d tab.<\/span><\/p>\n

Organized by the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD), the Conference is aimed at health professionals, public managers, students and other members of the Care Network for People with Disabilities. Papers may be clinical studies, experience reports, literature reviews or other scientific approaches, as long as they are in line with the central theme of the event \u2014 <\/span>\u201cTransforming care: PTS as a path\u201d<\/span><\/i> \u2014 and with the thematic areas of the Network.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the paper to be accepted, the author responsible for the presentation must be registered for the event at the time of submission. Papers submitted by non-registered authors will automatically be disregarded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Proposals will be evaluated by reviewers based on criteria such as clarity, coherence, relevance and social impact. The publication of approved papers is scheduled for May 20. The presentation of papers will take place between June 4 and 6, during the Conference program, and the best ones will be recognized with Honorable Mentions at the closing ceremony. All submitted abstracts will be published in the Proceedings of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

The II Conference of the Network of Care for People with Disabilities of RN will be held in person at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neurosciences (IIN-ELS), one of the ISD units in Maca\u00edba\/RN, on June 4, 5 and 6, 2025. The event is promoted in partnership with the State Secretariat of Public Health (Sesap), through the state coordination of the Network for People with Disabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n
