{"id":34161,"date":"2025-12-17T10:24:14","date_gmt":"2025-12-17T13:24:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/institutosantosdumont.org.br\/?p=34161"},"modified":"2025-12-17T10:24:14","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T13:24:14","slug":"isd-abre-selecao-para-mestrado-em-neuroengenharia-com-14-vagas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/institutosantosdumont.org.br\/en\/isd-abre-selecao-para-mestrado-em-neuroengenharia-com-14-vagas\/","title":{"rendered":"ISD opens applications for a Master&#039;s program in Neuroengineering with 14 places available."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) is now accepting applications for the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/institutosantosdumont.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Edital_001_2026_PPGN_Mestrado.docx.pdf\"><b>selection process<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the 2026.1 semester of the Postgraduate Program in Neuroengineering (PPGN).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In total, 14 places are offered for the Master&#039;s program in Neuroengineering, distributed among different competition categories, including places reserved for people with disabilities, affirmative action programs, and graduates of the Multiprofessional Residency in Healthcare for People with Disabilities (RESPCD).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Registration is free and continues until January 23rd. Those eligible to apply are individuals with degrees in Health Sciences, Exact Sciences, Engineering, or Biological Sciences. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/institutosantosdumont.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Edital_001_2026_PPGN_Mestrado.docx.pdf\"><b>notice<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The detailed schedule is available on the ISD website, under the tabs \u201cTeaching\u201d &gt; \u201cPostgraduate Studies in Neuroengineering\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interested parties should indicate, at the time of registration, which project they wish to participate in. There are 14 projects in areas such as Translational Neuroscience; Assessment, diagnosis and intervention applied to clinical neurorehabilitation; Transcranial Electrical Stimulation; Neurorehabilitation; and others, detailed in the call for proposals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>the master&#039;s<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Created in 2013, the Master&#039;s program in Neuroengineering at ISD is the first and only one in the country recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) in this area of knowledge. It aims to train highly qualified professionals, able to act with a global and interdisciplinary look in the development of scientific research and products in the field of Neuroengineering.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program is free, lasts 24 months, and falls under the CAPES Interdisciplinary evaluation area. Classes take place at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS), one of the ISD units, located in Maca\u00edba, about 25 kilometers from Natal.
