The program for the XII Neuroengineering Symposium of the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) brings together researchers, professionals, and students for four days of activities focused on discussing contemporary topics in neuroscience, neuroengineering, and technological innovation in health. <\/span>In conjunction with the VIII International and XXVIII Brazilian Congress of Abenepi on October 28, 29, 30 and 31, the activities will be distributed among<\/span> The Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS) in Maca\u00edba, and the Natal Convention Center in Rio Grande do Norte.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The program begins on October 28th with workshops held at IIN-ELS, an ISD unit located in Maca\u00edba. The activities will cover different applications of neuroengineering and neuroscience, providing participants with a practical and in-depth experience in topics related to research and technological innovation in health.<\/span><\/p>

On the remaining days of the event, researchers, professors, and multidisciplinary preceptors from ISD will participate in the scientific program of the Congress. <\/span>Brazilian Association of Child Neurology and Psychiatry and Related Professions (Abenepi)<\/span>, with lectures and discussions focused on topics such as neurodevelopment, ethics in research, scientific training, neuromodulation, rehabilitation, and technologies applied to health.<\/span><\/p>

Registration for participation remains open, and the first batch of entries is available until June 30th. Submissions of scientific papers (abstracts), in poster and oral presentation formats, are also open and can be sent until 6 PM on June 29th.       The symposium<\/span><\/p>\n

      The ISD Neuroengineering Symposium, held for over ten years, addresses interdisciplinary themes that value the integration of science and society and promote dialogue between multiple professions and research areas.<\/p>\n

      The Abenepi Congress brings together health professionals, researchers, teachers, managers and educators, students and residents for dialogue, in its 2026 edition, about the impacts of the digital age on childhood and adolescence and the challenges for health, education and families. <\/p>\n

      In the Congress program, ISD contributes with excerpts on the positive impacts and aspects of scientific research and technological innovation on the quality of life, rehabilitation, and neurodevelopment of children. <\/p>\n

      The Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) is a Social Organization of the Federal Executive Branch, supervised by the Ministry of Education, with the intervention of the Ministry of Sport.
