The 1st ISD Neuroengineering Symposium held on the 23rd and 24th of July, in Maca\u00edba, RN, had 50 participants. Organized by students Leila Cavalcanti, Caroline St\u00e9phanie, Lilian Urbini, Celina Reis and Jhulimar Doerl, the event will take place at the end of each academic semester.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was involved in several aspects of organizing the event, I wore the shirt and, in the end, it was worth it; The lectures were well articulated and there was a lot of discussion among the participants. The most interesting thing was being able to experience both sides, exposing my research and mediating others\u201d, was the opinion of master's student and organizer Leila Cavalcanti.<\/p>\n
This edition of the Symposium featured guest speakers Fausto Pierdon\u00e1 Guzen (UERN \u2013 Mossor\u00f3), Jeferson Cavalcante (UFRN \u2013 Natal), Allan de Medeiros Martins (UFRN \u2013 Natal) and Jos\u00e9 Maldonado (MBF \u2013 Rio de Janeiro). Students from the master's degree in Neuroengineering and scientific initiation students also presented their projects. \u201cIt was constructive in the sense that for the first time I was able to theoretically organize the activities I am carrying out, as well as demonstrate the results of my work and my future perspectives\u201c according to scientific initiation student, Jos\u00e9 Firmino, in his first presentation at a scientific event.<\/p>\n
