\"Foto<\/a>On September 26, the Municipal Department of Education (SME) of Natal held the \u201cEmbrace and Thank You\u201d meeting, which paid tribute to approximately 100 partners in public education in the capital of Rio Grande do Norte, in the auditorium of the Alu\u00edzio Alves Municipal Reference Center for Education. Dora Montenegro<\/strong>, director of Science Education Centers (CECs)<\/strong>, was one of the honorees.<\/p>\n

The event brought together partners for the symbolic delivery of a plaque and a hug of thanks for the actions\/projects and purposeful interventions that take place daily in the 146 teaching units of Natal (RN). The Secretary of Education of the municipality, Justina Iva<\/strong>, explained the reason for the meeting: \u201cWe are experiencing a moment of great happiness in the municipal education network of Natal, which for the first time reached the national target of the Basic Education Development Index (IDEB). We owe this to all our committed managers and teachers, to each of the Education workers and also to our partners\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"Foto<\/a>In her speech, Dora highlighted the importance of the partnership with the SME for the activities of CEC Natal, especially in relation to the free public transportation pass, made available to students in the municipal network so that they can attend the science education workshops offered by CEC. \u201cWe are starting a project that we consider very important: the Training of Managers, which involves the participation of eleven municipal schools. We would like to thank the City Hall team immensely for continuing this partnership in favor of the education of our students and in defense of the social function of the school\u201d, thanked Dora.<\/p>\n

Professor Justina Iva also stated: \u201cEach of the partners, with their own form of intervention, has helped us a lot to build this citizenship education for our students and improve the development of learning. When we work on socio-emotional values, it has a direct impact on the students\u2019 attitudes, on the awakening of life projects and on citizenship education.\u201d<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
