ISD opens a vacancy for Post-Doctoral researcher; find out how to sign up

On Thursday, January 11, the Santos Dumont Institute launched a call for applications for a postdoctoral fellowship. The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of R$5,200 for a period of two years, and will have access to the bus chartered by the ISD that runs daily between Natal and the institution's units in Macaíba. Candidates who have completed their doctorate within 5 years of the application process, in accordance with the rules of the PDPG-POSDOC/Capes call for applications, are eligible to apply. The following are the basic requirements for candidates: a degree in the areas of health, biology, engineering or exact sciences and a doctorate in neuroscience, biology, health, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, information systems, data science, computational mathematics or related areas. In addition, candidates must have publications related to neuroscience, neuroengineering or data science, with proven experience with animal models or biological signal processing. 


The selected candidate will work at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS), one of the two ISD units in Macaíba, where they will have access to all the equipment and structure necessary to carry out their activities. The workload is 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, in person. The position is open to people with disabilities.
