
On
ISD Brain Week 2024 provided elementary and primary school students from the public school system in Macaíba with the opportunity to unravel the mysteries of the brain and learn about the world of neuroscience.
With the theme “Neuroengineering: connecting the brain with technology”, the ISD project is among 8 selected in Brazil and 103 selected worldwide. The program includes workshops on the electrical activity of the brain, brain-machine interface and activities such as computer control.
The event also includes activities at the Barreira do Inferno Launch Center (CLBI) and the ISD's Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center.
ISD Brain Week is supported by the Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and the Dana Foundation and aims to expand and introduce scientific knowledge to the general public, with activities covering a variety of topics. At ISD, the program includes brain-machine interface, computer control, and much more!
