A Intertv Cabugi, an affiliate of Rede Globo in RN, made a report about the Potigua Equine Therapyr, project carried out through an agreement between the Santos Dumont Institute and the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN).
The children who appear in the report practice hippotherapy as a complementary therapy to the treatment received at Multidisciplinary Autism Spectrum Disorder Care Service (SEMEA), offered in Macaíba (RN) by Center of Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research (CEPS).
This is the only service of this nature in Rio Grande do Norte that is offered by Unified Health System (SUS).
