The candidate must hold a PhD in biological sciences or related fields, be interested in conducting research on topics related to brain-machine interfaces, neuromodulation and neurorehabilitation, and teach in the postgraduate program in Neuroengineering. Desirable skills: electrophysiology, cellular and molecular neurobiology, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, and image processing. Publications in internationally relevant journals, completed supervisions, participation in research projects, and courses taught in undergraduate or postgraduate programs will be considered a plus. The institute is located in Macaíba (RN), 14 km from Natal, with full-time, in-person work. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching, research, and outreach activities.
