Recently, the Scientific Education Centers (CECs) of Natal-RN and Macaíba-RN received a visit from researcher Alain Gerino, master in Social Sciences from PUC/SP.
On August 16th and 17th, he was welcomed by the CECs team, being able to observe and learn a little about the routine and teaching methodology used in these units of the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD).
Alain is currently researching a possible doctorate, in which he would address the work developed by the CECs. According to him: “The scientific instrumentation of the CECs is very interesting, especially when based on the idea of inclusion. One of the things that caught my attention the most during the visits to the Natal and Macaíba units was the attitude of the teachers. I can say that they are interested in what they do and this is something positive for the course of any project.”
The work developed with students from the CECs, in the units of Natal-RN, Macaíba-RN and Serrinha-BA, is part of the Scientific Education Program of the Santos Dumont Institute (PISD 1).
