CEPS participates in the National Meeting of Residencies in Health

Last week, students from Multidisciplinary Residency in Health Care for People with Disabilities Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS) were in IX National Meeting of Residencies in Health (ENRS), which took place from October 13th to 16th and was hosted in Natal (RN), at the Ginásio Poliesportivo da Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN).

“ENRS is an important and collaborative event between everyone who builds homes in the country. We had the full participation of the ISD resident body and representatives of preceptors and coordination at different moments of the event. These meetings are important, as they promote spaces for dialogue and strengthen our work in health training for the Unified Health System.”, declared the Coordinator of the CEPS Multiprofessional Residency, Lorenna Santiago.

Camila Madruga, psychologist and student in the second class of the CEPS Multiprofessional Residency, highlighted that the experience was very positive as it was a moment of engagement with residents from other parts of the country to discuss national issues and that it was also an opportunity to reflect on residents' self-care , that is, taking care of those who care. 


The CEPS/Instituto Santos Dumont (ISD) Residency Program, a pioneer in Brazil, is aimed at professionals in the areas of physiotherapy, speech therapy, psychology It is social service, bringing together the areas of teaching, research and extension, strengthening both the Care Network for People with Disabilities in the context of the Unified Health System (SUS), and the National Plan for the Rights of People with Disabilities – Plano Viver sem Limite.
