The Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) announced, this Friday (21), the opening of registrations for the II Conference of the Network of Care for People with Disabilities of Rio Grande do Norte. The annual event, organized by the ISD in partnership with the State Secretariat of Public Health (Sesap), through the coordination of the Network of People with Disabilities of RN, will take place on June 4, 5 and 6, at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neurosciences (IIN-ELS), in Macaíba/RN.
This year, the event’s theme is “Transforming care: PTS as a path” and is aimed at healthcare professionals and professionals from Specialized Rehabilitation Centers (CERs), public administrators and students, with a focus on strengthening the Care Network for People with Disabilities in the state. “We will focus on implementing the Singular Therapeutic Project and for this to happen, we understand that intersectoral cooperation is essential. Therefore, the event will encourage the participation of sectors other than healthcare, such as education and social services,” highlights Lorenna Santiago, who is part of the organizing committee.
The event offers a program composed of lectures, round tables and mini-courses, addressing practical experiences and strategies for the construction of Singular Therapeutic Projects (PTS), fundamental for comprehensive and humanized care for people with disabilities.
