This Friday (08) the Portal of the Ministry of Education (MEC) highlights the actions of the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) to guide women and health professionals about risks, doubts and assistance involving pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period in new pandemic coronavirus. The Institute has been in operation for more than 10 years and is considered a reference in teaching, research and extension – as well as in services provided by the Unified Health System (SUS) in several areas, including obstetrics and high-risk pediatrics. Its actions have been linked to the Ministry of Education since 2014.
In the report published today, the MEC draws attention to a series of illustrations and a newsletter that the Institute published on maternal and child health care at this time. The content is part of a series of efforts by ISD to disseminate truthful information about this and other topics in the fight against Covid-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus. AND here to download the illustrations and the Covid-19 and Pregnancy newsletter, highlighted in the text and the result of collaborative work involving the Institute’s multidisciplinary team.
