The Santos Dumont Institute will host the 1st Meeting of the Ethics Committees for Research Involving Human Beings of Rio Grande do Norte (ECEP-RN) on October 30th and 31st. The event will be held at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS), an ISD unit in Macaíba, Rio Grande do Norte.
The target audience is researchers, members of Human Research Ethics Committees, research participants, and individuals interested in research involving human beings. The program will feature lectures by representatives of the National Research Ethics Commission (CONEP), researchers, and invited guests.
With the aim of promoting discussions that contribute to the advancement and overcoming of the challenges faced daily by Research Ethics Committees, the meeting will be a space for exchanging experiences and enriching the ethical analysis of research involving human beings, reinforcing the commitment to the protection of research participants in Brazil.
The event will be in person, with the possibility of attending remotely.
