IIN-ELS Master's Degree in Neuroengineering receives registrations until January 14, 2018

The public call for the Master's degree in Neuroengineering of the International Institute of Neurosciences Edmond and Lily Safra (as Portuguese abbreviation: IIN-ELS) receives applications from candidates until January 14, 2018. This course is related to the Biomedical Engineering field and is intended for graduates of Biology, Medicine, Psychology and Engineering. Those interested in deepening knowledge in the Neuroengineering area will attend classes at IIN-ELS, a unit of Santos Dumont Institute (as Portuguese abbreviation: ISD) located in Macaíba, a city located in the Northeast region of Brazil.

The IIN-ELS Postgraduate Program (PPG) offers the first Brazilian master's degree course in Neuroengineering authorized by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (as Portuguese abbreviation: CAPES).

Neuroengineering is a field of interdisciplinary research that combines neuroscience and engineering methods to study the functioning of the nervous system and to develop solutions to the limitations and dysfunctions associated with it. The IIN-ELS' PPG in Neuroengineering has two lines of research: Brain-Machine Interface and Neuromodulation.
