Santos Dumont Institute opens 3 vacancies for medical preceptors in RN; salaries reach R$ 5,342.16

The Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) announced this Monday (19) the opening of three vacancies for immediate hiring of medical preceptors in obstetrics, gynecology and otorhinolaryngology. Salaries range from R$ 2,671.08 to R$ 5,342.16 according to the workload.

The selected candidates will work in Macaíba, a municipality in Rio Grande do Norte where the Institute's two teaching, research and assistance centers for the population are located: the Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center – since 2016 authorized by the Ministry of Health as a Specialized Center for Auditory, Physical and Intellectual Rehabilitation (CER-III) – and the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience. 

Vacancies

For a preceptor (a) obstetrician-gynecologist, the notice provides for two vacancies, with a workload of 20 hours per week and a salary of R$5,342.16. 

As for an otorhinolaryngologist preceptor, there is 1 vacancy with a workload of 10 hours per week and a salary of R$ 2,671.08.   

The selection process includes curriculum analysis, letter of intent and interview for those approved in the two previous stages.

The Santos Dumont Institute is a non-profit Social Organization linked to the Ministry of Education. 

It is a reference in teaching, research and extension in maternal and child health, health of people with disabilities, neuroscience and neuroengineering. Assistance to the population, through services that are also a practical scenario for medical and multidisciplinary residency students from several states in Brazil – and internship students from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) – is offered to the population through the Unified Health System (SUS).
