The Santos Dumont Institute is opening a selection process for a Secretary of Research and Graduate Studies in Neuroengineering.

The Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) opened, this Wednesday (8), the registration for the selection process This position is for the role of Research and Graduate Studies Secretary I. The role involves providing administrative and academic support to the Graduate Program in Neuroengineering (PPGN). The position is based in person at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS) in Macaíba, in the metropolitan region of Natal.

The position requires a completed higher education degree, preferably in Administration, Executive Secretarial Studies, Public Management, Pedagogy, or related fields, as well as a minimum of six months' experience in similar academic activities, such as assisting students and faculty, organizing documents, drafting official letters and reports, and managing regulatory systems and standards. Advanced English proficiency and proficiency in Google tools, including spreadsheets and data management, are also expected.

Among the planned activities are the registration and operationalization of academic and scientific information of the PPGN; organization of internal selection processes; management of registrations, subjects, grades and attendance; support for qualification and defense panels; issuance of diplomas; support for events, committees and institutional routines. 

The selected professional will be hired under CLT (Brazilian labor law), with a 40-hour weekly on-site work schedule, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. The position is open to people with disabilities. The remuneration is R$ 3,079.61, plus benefits, which include health and dental insurance, food and meal vouchers, and daily chartered transportation between Natal and Macaíba.
