The Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) announced, this Tuesday (5), the opening of a vacancy for the position of Research and Development Support Technician. The opportunity is to work in the multi-user laboratories of the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS), located in Macaíba. The hiring will be under the CLT regime, with a workload of 40 hours per week.
Candidates must have a degree in Engineering, Biomedicine, Neuroscience, Science and Technology or related fields. Knowledge of animal experimentation, electronics, programming and use of software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is desirable. The salary is R$1,714.25, and the position offers benefits such as health and dental insurance, food and meal vouchers, group life insurance and free transportation between Natal and Macaíba.
Among the duties provided, the Research and Development Support Technician will be responsible for planning, preparing and executing tests for different research areas, under the supervision of research professors; maintaining and controlling the use of laboratory equipment and supplies, requesting materials as necessary; assisting in the development of methods, processes and products for research and extension; providing technical support to researchers and students in experimental activities, ensuring the safe use of equipment and compliance with safety standards; performing periodic preventive maintenance of equipment and developing operational procedures for use in laboratories.
Applications will be open from November 5 to 15, 2024. The selection process includes document analysis, technical-behavioral interview, practical activity and a final interview.
