The Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) is offering 10 master's degrees for foreign postgraduate students from Latin America and the Caribbean through the Move La América Program, organized by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes). The vacancies are for the institution's Postgraduate Program in Neuroengineering (PPGN).

The Move La América Program aims to encourage academic mobility and strengthen integration between higher education and research institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean. ISD's participation in this initiative reflects the institutional commitment to internationalization and strengthening scientific collaborations in the region.

The selected students will have the opportunity to develop interdisciplinary research in the field of neuroengineering and neurosciences, relying on an excellent infrastructure and a highly qualified multidisciplinary faculty at ISD. The institute, located in Macaíba, Rio Grande do Norte, is recognized for contributing significantly to the advancement of interdisciplinary scientific knowledge and the development of new technologies for rehabilitation and assistive technologies for people with disabilities.

“We are excited to participate in the Move La América Program and offer this opportunity to talented students from Latin America and the Caribbean. We believe that diversity of perspectives and the exchange of knowledge without scientific borders are fundamental to the advancement of science and innovation and a real contribution to society”, said the manager of the International Institute of Neurosciences Edmond and Lily Safra (IIN-ELS), Edgard Morya .

Information about the program is available on the Capes website, through the link https://bit.ly/mlamerica. Registration is open until August 8th. Interested candidates must meet the requirements established by the ISD and the Capes program.
