Directors of the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) presented this Monday (31) in Brasília, to the Ministry of Education, the results of the Institute's activities and the projects and actions planned for the coming years.
Past, present and future were on the agenda with minister Milton Ribeiro, the Ministry's executive secretary, Victor Godoy Veiga, deputy executive secretary, José Castro Barreto Júnior, and MEC Program director, Tarciana Barreto Sa – the three The latter appear in the photo with the Institute's directors.
The ISD has been linked to the MEC since 2014, through a Management Contract that is moving towards renewal - as signaled by the Ministry during a meeting with the general director of the ISD, Reginaldo Freitas Junior, the managers of the two units of the Institute (the International Institute of Neurosciences Edmond and Lily Safra and the Center for Education and Research in Health Anita Garibaldi), respectively, Edgard Morya and Lilian Lisboa, and the coordinator of the Institute's Rehabilitation Center, Hougelle Simplicio.
The Ministry was presented with 2014-2019 Multi-Year Report, with the results of activities carried out over this period, the Campus do Cérebro Memorials – which tell the story of the area that is the base of the Institute – and the Master Plan proposal that will be submitted to the ISD Board of Directors, with projects planned for the 2021-2025 cycle.
