ISD publishes official schedule of the 1st Day of the Care Network for People with Disabilities in RN

The Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) releases this Monday (3) the official schedule of the 1st Day of the Care Network for People with Disabilities in RN. The scientific event takes place on June 6th and 7th, at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neurosciences (IIN-ELS), in Macaíba. Registration has now closed.

The official opening of the event will be held on Thursday morning by the general director of ISD, Reginaldo Freitas Júnior, who will give the conference's opening speech at 9 am. Afterwards, the general health coordinator of the Care Network for People with Disabilities of the Ministry of Health, Arthur Medeiros, will lead the seminar's master class. 

The Journey is part of the program celebrating ISD's 10 years as a Social Organization linked to the Federal Government. And it intends, over the two days of programming, to strengthen the care network for people with disabilities through round tables, lectures, work presentations and reports of personal experience. One of the axes of discussion at the event is family-centered care.

Thursday (6):

8am to 9am: Accreditation.

9am: Official Opening. Guest: Reginaldo Freitas Júnior, general director of ISD.

9:45 am: Magna Class. Guest: Arthur Medeiros, general health coordinator of the Care Network for People with Disabilities of the Ministry of Health.

11am: Lecture: Family and Community Centered Care. Guest: Hércules Leite, professor in the physiotherapy department at UFMG.

11:40 am to 1:20 pm: Lunch.

1:30 p.m.: Lecture: Development of clinical research and technological innovation in rehabilitation in the Care Network for People with Disabilities. Guest: Edgard Morya, researcher and manager at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neurosciences (IIN-ELS).

1:50 p.m.: Lecture: Care Network for People with Disabilities in RN. Guest: Marilene Soares, coordinator. state of the Health Care Network for People with Disabilities in RN.

2:10 p.m.: Lecture: Biopsychosocial Model and Family-Centered Care. Guest: Camila Simão, coordinator. from the ISD Specialized Rehabilitation Center.

2:30 p.m.: Lecture: Beyond pain – Physiatry in the care of patients with disabilities. Guest: Ana Laura, physiatrist medical preceptor at ISD.

2:40 pm to 3:40 pm: Break and presentation of work.

3:30 p.m.: Round table: Parasport as a rehabilitation tool. Table mediator: Pablo Gustavo, para-athlete and user of the ISD para-sport care line. Participants: Vânia Tie Koga, General Coordinator of Parasports, Education, Leisure and Social Inclusion at the Ministry of Sports; Fabíola Campos, ISD physiotherapist preceptor and Oneill Andrews Ferreira da Silva Filho, user of the ISD parasports care line.

Friday (7):

8am to 8:30am: Accreditation.

8:30 am: Round Table: Neurogenic bladder care as essential for patients with disabilities. Table mediator: Joelma Prazeres, representative of the Neurinho Association. Guests: Lilian Lisboa, manager of Anita; Júlio César de Oliveira, user of the ISD Paradesporto care line; Aneilma de Azevedo, graduate of the Multiprofessional Residency in Health Care for People with Disabilities at ISD.

9:30 am to 10:30 am: Break and presentation of work.

10am to 12pm: Workshop with RN CER coordinators.

10:30 am: Round Table: Challenges and advances in auditory rehabilitation integrating technology and multidisciplinary care. Meter: Braúlio Costa, lawyer. Guests: Joseli Brazorotto, professor at the Department of Speech Therapy at UFRN; Ana Angélica, lawyer and representative of SUVAG mothers; Ingrid Rafaela Dantas dos Santos, speech therapist at SUVAG.

11:30 am: Lecture: Autism Spectrum Disorder and Parenting – World Health Organization Model. Guest: Elyse Matos – creator of the ICO Project.

12:10 pm to 1:20 pm: Lunch.

1:30 pm to 3:00 pm: Workshop with CER coordinators from RN

1:30 p.m.: Round Table: Autism Spectrum Disorder and the Family-Centered Care Model. Mediator: Cícera Bruna, psychologist and master’s student in Neuroengineering at ISD. Guests: Samantha Maranhão, coordinator. Anita's Health Teaching Activities; Rochele Adriane Barbalho, coordinator. the Battling Owl Mothers Group; Maria Luci Gomes Maia, representative of families of people with disabilities.

2:40 p.m.: Round Table: Visual interface rehabilitation in health and education. Table mediator: Olívia Morais de Medeiros Neta, professor at the Department. of Fundamentals and Policies of Education at UFRN. Guests: Guacira Silva, pedagogical preceptor at ISD; Juliana Magro, teaching preceptor at ISD; and Érico Gurgel Amorim, professor at the department. of Medicine at UFRN.

3:30 p.m.: Closing speech. Guest: Camila Simão, coordinator of the ISD Specialized Rehabilitation Center.
