Anita is a health practice and assistance setting, focusing on maternal and child areas and people with disabilities. It is also home to the first Multidisciplinary Residency in Health Care for People with Disabilities in Brazil, which welcomes professionals from the areas of Psychology, Social Work, Physiotherapy and Speech Therapy.
The Psychologist and Coordinator of Anita's Teaching Activities, Samantha Maranhão, highlights the importance of Psychology in the health care of people served by ISD. “Psychology, as a science and profession, is essential to the health care of women, children and people with disabilities – a population that Anita welcomes and empowers. Receiving this honor is recognition of our institution as a practice setting that contributes to the training of professionals in the area. Anita values and cares for Psychology, which greatly helps in expanded care strategies with the sensitive eyes of the many professionals who make up this area of activity”, said Samantha.
The tribute was received on behalf of the institution during the solemn session at ALRN by prof. dr. Lilian Lira Lisboa, manager of Anita.
A regulation

According to the Federal Council of Psychology, there are more than 440 thousand registered professionals, present in various areas of society, such as clinics, health services, social assistance, justice, public safety, traffic, sport, leisure and others.
