The candidate must hold a degree in Nursing from a higher education institution recognized by the MEC (Brazilian Ministry of Education); Specialization and/or Residency in Women's Health or Maternal, Obstetric and Gynecological Health or Maternal and Child Health; preferably with a Master's and/or Doctorate in Nursing or related fields or in the final stages of a Master's and/or Doctorate (proof through passing a Qualifying Examination); proven experience in clinical activities in Nursing in Women's Health or Maternal, Obstetric and Gynecological Health or Maternal and Child Health; experience in teaching and/or preceptorship with an emphasis on Women's Health or Maternal, Obstetric and Gynecological Health or Maternal and Child Health. The specific competencies of a nurse include those described in Regulation No. 127/2011 of the Federal Nursing Council, published in the Official Gazette of the Union No. 35, of February 18, 2011. Job responsibilities: to develop clinical and teaching, research and extension activities aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate studies in health professions, with an emphasis on comprehensive women's health care; to work with the Education and Interprofessional Work in Maternal and Child Health and Education for Social and Community Action programs developed by the Santos Dumont Institute.
