This morning, September 12th, we received in Macaíba (RN) a visit from Professor-Researchers from University of Granada, in Spain, Jose Manuel Perez-Marmol, from the Department of Physiotherapy, and Jose Luis Garrido, from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunication Engineering.
They are on a technical visit to universities in the Brazilian Northeast and came to the units of Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) through teachers Alvaro Campos It is Ricardo GuerreroThe, from the Department of Physiotherapy of Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), which maintains a partnership with Spanish researchers.
At the Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS), they were welcomed by Camila Simão, Multiprofessional Preceptor, Samantha Maranhão, Coordinator of Health Teaching Activities and Lorenna Santiago, Coordinator of the Multiprofessional Residency in Health Care for People with Disabilities. On the occasion, they were introduced to the CEPS facilities and practice scenarios in the areas of maternal and child health and people with disabilities.
At the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS), they were welcomed by Fabricio Brazil, Professor-Researcher, and students of the Master's Degree in Neuroengineering at IIN-ELS, during which the visitors got to know the laboratories and the work developed in neuroscience and neuroengineering. They ended the visit by presenting their lines of research, which have affinities with the work developed by ISD.
