new patients Multidisciplinary Autism Spectrum Disorder Care Service (SEMEA/CEPS) were evaluated by the multidisciplinary team of the Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS) and based on pre-established clinical criteria were considered able to join the Riding Therapy Potiguar.
Due to the limitation in the number of appointments in the project, there will be a public lottery to include seven new users and three alternates diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The draw may be followed by any interested party and will be held on March 21, 2018, at 8:30 am, at the Paulo Freire auditorium, located at CEPS, located at Rodovia RN 160, Km 1.5, nº 2010 (near the UPA) – District of Jundiaí, Macaíba–RN – CEP 59280–970.
The Potiguar Riding Therapy project has been carried out since 2017, jointly by the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) and the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN).
