We are on the Tilt channel of the UOL portal once again! And now Edgard Morya, Research Coordinator of the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD), talks about the possibilities of performing a “brain backup”. Transferring information from the human brain to a computer may seem like science fiction, but it is actually something that is already being studied around the world. At ISD, we research information storage in neural networks in the context of treating neurodegenerative diseases.
