The Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) will host, on November 17th and 18th, the “III Meeting of Social Organizations of the Federal Executive Branch”, an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) which aims to discuss the partnership model with social organizations.
Held at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS), one of the ISD units in Macaíba, the event features participants from all over the country, in a program that includes lectures by authorities and experts to promote the exchange of experiences and reflections on the advances, challenges and perspectives of this institutional arrangement.
This initiative reinforces the model established by Law No. 9,637/1998, which governs the qualification of private non-profit entities as Social Organizations, enabling them to operate in strategic areas of the State through partnerships.
The debate is part of a series of actions by the Secretariat of Management and Innovation of the Ministry of Government (Seges/MGI) aimed at strengthening and improving the federal partnership model. Representatives from entities and bodies such as the Ministry of Education (MEC), the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), the National Education and Research Network (RNP), and the Augusto Severo Science and Technology Park (PAX RN) are also participating in the event.
The opening panel discussion will feature the Secretary of SEGES, Roberto Pojo; the Deputy Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Rodolfo de Carvalho Cabral; and the Director-General of ISD, Reginaldo Antônio de Oliveira Freitas Júnior. To broaden the reach and participation of those interested, the event will be broadcast live on the official MGI YouTube channel.
