Last days to register for the selection process for the Master's program in Neuroengineering at ISD.

Applications are open until January 23rd for the 2026.1 selection process for the Master's program in Neuroengineering at the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD). The Postgraduate Program in Neuroengineering (PPGN) offers 14 places, including places reserved for people with disabilities, affirmative action, and graduates of the Multiprofessional Residency in Healthcare for People with Disabilities (RESPCD). Registration is free.

Candidates with degrees in Health Sciences, Exact Sciences, Engineering, or Biological Sciences are eligible to participate. The call for applications, with a detailed schedule and guidelines, is available at [website address]. ISD website, in the tabs “Teaching” > “Postgraduate Studies in Neuroengineering”.

At the time of registration, candidates must indicate the project they wish to apply for. There are 14 projects distributed across areas such as translational neuroscience; assessment, diagnosis and intervention in clinical neurorehabilitation; transcranial electrical stimulation; neurorehabilitation; among other lines described in the call for proposals.

Master's degree in Neuroengineering

Created in 2013, the Master's program in Neuroengineering at ISD is the first and only one in the country recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) in this area of knowledge. Its objective is to train highly qualified professionals with interdisciplinary skills and the ability to develop scientific research and technological solutions in Neuroengineering.

The program is free, lasts 24 months, and is part of CAPES' Interdisciplinary evaluation area. Classes are held at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS) in Macaíba, approximately 25 kilometers from Natal. All students have access to free daily transportation provided by ISD between Natal and Macaíba.
